I've just had the scariest new year ever. My family and I were in the mountains, skiing. There was a big party organised by some guy by the mountains.There was a beautiful, big campfire and over 3000 people standing outside or sitting in the snow. For an hour before midnight people were firing fireworks about 30 metres from where we were standing. Suddenly, just a few minutes before the new year, fireworks started to explode on the ground and burn the people starting nearby. My parents' friend led us and her family through the nets, through gates and onto the other side of the mountain. When we got there everybody started the countdown. Some 'clever', drunk guy thought it will be good to light some fireworks himself. A stupid guard, who was supposed to keep people safe kicked the ireworks in anger, making them fire at a group of people with children, then the fireworks turned to us but we ran away in time.
